This taonga is based on the love story of Uenuku the rainbow and the mist maiden Hinepukohurangi (Ngai-Tuhoe).

A love story between a man and the mist maiden - symbolic of connection and intimacy within the land (whenua) and nature. 

Measures 20.9cm length x4.8cm width, double-sided, and comes with a brown adjustable neck cord incase you want to wear it as a necklace rather than a heru in the hair.
