The bone taonga represents the pare design which can often be seen positioned above a door or window of a wharenui (meeting house). It depicts two kanohi (faces) described as wheku and Kōruru. 

The kanohi often represents the Ariki or Tupuna that connect with that tribal area or rohe.

A beautiful taonga for someone exploring their whakapapa, who have lineage to different rohe (areas) and who like the pare design, worn across the chest.

Measures 16.5mm x 5mm, double-sided and comes with an adjustable black chord designed to be worn sideways/across chest.
