This taonga symbolises the sea, Tangaroa and all creatures that live within the ocean waters.

If you look closely it has a whales tale (tohorā) which reminds us of the many sea creatures that travelled with the navigators from hawaiiki, and other pacific areas to Aotearoa.

It measures 9.2cm x 5.7cm, is double-sided, and comes with a black adjustable waxed cord (Cord in photo is different and was replaced with a wax cord).
