Bone Carving #56 Heru (Toi Te Huatahi) 

Inspired by a tūpuna called Toi, also called Toi Kairakau (wood eater). He is holding his file (toki pou tangata), which represents mahi whakairo and mastery of whakairo and arts. 

Great taonga for someone working toward their potential in life, family study or specialist area of mātauranga. 

It measures 25cm x 4.9 cm, is double-sided, and comes with a black adjustable waxed cord to wear as a necklace but can be removed to wear in the hair as a heru (comb).
