Bone Carving #36 Hei Matau (Pikorua)

This is a contemporary take on a Hei matau in the design of an intertwining pattern called Pikorua, representing the journey of life with the highs and lows and the many journeys travelled. It features niho taniwha or dog teeth pattern which can symbolise strength and resilience along the path of life. 

It measures 6.6cm x 3.2cm and is carved on both sides. It comes with a black adjustable waxed cord.
