This taonga is a representation of Moko Kauae, designed for (wahine) Female. The kowhaiwhai pattern represents the maternal side (left) and the paternal side (right).

Measures 6.5cm length x 3cm width, bone with intricate wood and paua inlay and adjustable black wax-cord. Single-sided.  

Lovely piece for a small child or someone who likes a smaller taonga/pendant. Heavily discounted due to the item being a sample piece for a larger job that was done after this.
