Bone Carving #13 Hei Tiki (Tekoteko Kaihautu)

This taonga depicts a human form, a male of chiefly status. The face holds moko kanohi, which is also significant of place and status in whānau/family. 

This measures 8.6cm length x 3.2cm width, is single-sided and as paua inlay for eyes and adjustable black, plaited, wax cord. 

Option: Interchangeable cord means you can wear this hei tiki as pictured or adjust to wear horizontally from left to right (across), by placing cord in one of the arm holes.
